"And I have followed the way of life of my fathers, Ibrahim, Ishaaq, and Yaqoob. And it is not suitable for us to associate anything with Lord Allah; that is from the favor of Allah upon us and upon mankind, but most among mankind are not grateful.
Like every Prophet and Messenger, Yoosuf also introduced Allah as the Lord of the universe. Believer who testifies Adhikr will not associate anything with Lord and they are submitting wholly into the Lord as explained in verses 2: 133 and 3: 102. Islam is the way of life accepted by the Lord to whole mankind as explained in verse 3: 19. Most of the people are not grateful told in this verse means 999 out of 1000 from Messenger's people are destined to Hell and only 1 who testifies Adhikr will return into Paradise as explained in verses 11: 118-119. The Arabic Quran reading Fujjar will be dragged prone on their faces into Hell, those are in the worst place and they are the most strayed as explained in verse 10: 84. Verse 11: 17 ends as: "Most of the people will not become believers". As Adhikr-the Permission of Lord-is formed, nobody can become believers without It. See explanation 1: 4; 2: 152 and 8: 2-4.
